AND Campaign presents: LIT City

The AND Campaign is launching LIT City (Literacy in the City)—a citywide initiative mobilizing Atlanta churches to address one of our community’s most urgent needs: early childhood literacy. In partnership with schools, nonprofits, and local congregations, LIT City aims to ensure every child in Atlanta reads proficiently by third grade—a key milestone for lifelong success.

How I Got Over” Documentary Series

The “How I Got Over” documentary series takes a deep dive into the Black church tradition. It debunks the misconception that orthodoxy is a white Western construct and shows that true faith in God’s word is how the Black community survived and thrived amidst injustices and mistreatment.

The documentary series features interviews with prominent faith leaders such as Dr. Esau McCauley, Bishop Claude Alexander, Lisa Fields, Dr. Cynthia Hale, and Dr. CJ Rhodes. They discuss the impact of the Black church and how its teachings have shaped their approach to social engagement.
